I'm in yr 12
um..regarding the chances of getting in, i believe that it all comes down to your own performance in each of the universities selection criterias.

there are no aust uni students in australia..
first if u get the required UMAT ull get an interview

then if u get top 100 performance in the interview..
then they will offer u a place only if ure UAI is >90

MRBS are offered to the top 6(?) interviews
rural bonded is usualli given to the bottom 10 of those offered
rest are HECS
next year new local fee paying.. too

i dunno, i thought i stuffed it up and i was pleasantly surprised.
also despite the fact that nearly everyoneleaves out many questions/.....its your percentile, comparison against other students that counts, so dont let that discourage you

@trekk well u never kno some ppl get in the weirdest way..

@inasero.. i want med school shirts.. i got 3 from adel.. i want a couple from other med schools.. hehe.. melb has a nice one.. "sex, drugs and public health"..

thing is that so many people i heard after the test were saying "how easy was that?" about section 3. i ended up finding only 2 of the shapes, didnt understand many of the sequence questions. i doubt that i'd do relatively well for that section...everything else is fine though.

well Adel uni is pretti generous bout the UMAT..

its the interview tat most ppl f*#k up..

and 1st yr is a big discriiminator.. i think so far 8 dropped out..
