Aldosterone: It is produced by the adrenal glands and it regulates the transfer of sodium. When salt levels are low, more aldosterone is
produced to encourage more reabsorption of sodium ions.

ADH: Reabsorption of water is controlled by ADH. Made by the hypothalamus but stored and released from the pituitary gland in the brain. If the body lacks hydration, ADH increases the permeability of the collecting ducts to water.
