i dont think its out in Australia yet.
its faster then adsl2 and cable how ever can only work on shorter distances.

Where cable=fibre, then yes. And even that's not completely true - there's still limits to the ability of the optics to transmit data. Some of Japan/Korea now has gigabit home internet.HotShot said:

i got cable and what i noticed is that most sites dont allow me to download sometihng at the fastest speed i can. its kinda pointless going will faster speeds i think.
i mean if like u said someone has a gig/s connection, they neeed sites and people who can send them files at 1 gig/s . and i dont think that happens
