im need help writing an essay to put in my 1/2 yrlys --

Changing perspectives is our area of study

texts to include are: the crucible, text 2a and b (the national picture by jeoff parr and the conciliation by benjamin duterrau) and the film chocolat.

the essay question is:
Experience changes our perspective
Discuss with close reference to all 3 texts.
Answer should consider the intention of the composer and the techniques employed by them to explore this issue.

I cant seem to link all three texts together along with relate them to changing perspective and the composers intention and techniques.... i need to be able to write this essay in 40 mins next friday HELP MEE... ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED THANX

Ooh glass prism. ^

Your essay question is quite open ended, so you should be able to complete it without too much difficulty. I've also studied the 'National Picture' and 'The Conciliation' in English Advanced. We analysed the changing attitudes concerning Aboriginals and European settlers. Refer to the appropriation aspects of both texts. Since you only have 40 minutes, make a few brief points and expand on them. Good luck!

we just finished changing perspectives and we also had to do an essay. hmm, we didn't do any of those texts, except we did do the crucible in year 9.. forgot what that was about though. hahaha. well at least you guys know the question beforehand. we were given 5 minutes in the exam to make up a thesis for ours - "change is sometimes forced upon us, as life is a progression and not a station". lol, yeah fun. well, my teacher told us to write about AT LEAST 3 techniques for each text and then use them as a basis to link the stimulus together. always have a topic sentence and a linking sentence, provide lots of evidence, etc etc.. and most importantly, give yourself time to write a good conclusion because that's the last thing the marker reads! impress them with something philosophical (that makes sense and is relevant). we were told that our conclusions should summarise everything and answer the question in one paragraph. :)
