hey guys, i got into acst/app fin and was looking into the recommended programs for actuarial degrees and it has math132 in sem1 and math 133 in sem2. Both these are advance versions of 135 and 136. My question is are 132 and 133 significantly harder than 135 and 136. And would i be able to complete future units with just 132 and 133. I know they full-fill the prerequisites, but do they teach you enough to complete future subjects?

not sure what you are asking, why are you worried about learning enough to complete future subjects?

esp relative to 135/6. you will learn what you would have in 135/6 and then some, i assume.

if you are after math subjects that "assist" you in your actuarial subjects, it is probably better to ask academic advisors or one of the actuarial fellas. but i am sure, they would say it isnt neccessary.

About the fifth time i'm saying this, but look at the recommended plan. It's recommended for a reason.

They want you to do 132 and 133, so do them. They will be adequate for any potential use in the future (most of the stuff you will learn you won't need anyway).
