Hey guys just wanted to ask this years papper was defof harder thna last years right?just wanna figure out scaling ish since las tyear a 76 scaled to a band 6
ye i found it harder than last years my maths teacher (hsc marker) said that a 70 could possibly scale up to a 90

they referred to 2025 a lot. like 2025pi, 2025 everything and it just made me annoyed lol (i think it was just exam stress tbh but in the moment i was lowkey so mad haha)
I feel like it is just because 2025=45^2 so they could a bit more with it

did anyone get the sheep one? i assumed i was meant to get a z score but i could not for the life of me figure out how to get that without a raw score

for that you just had to find the percentage of male sheep heavier than x which was 15/600 so 2.5% and a z score of 2 would mean that 2.5% of the sheep are heavier than x kg so then you just use that to find x

oh my god that's what i tried to do but I didn't understand how 2.5% could be 2. i just got it 🙁 thank u
