Advantage of working in teams is that u can get a range of results and add them together to get averages, which increases the accuracy of the experiment.
Disadvantage of working in teams is that steps to be conducted may not be equally distributed between team members, which inturn may result in some team members benefitting less when compared to another team member...

hehe
hope that helps :)

An advantage of working as a team is you can obtain a large amount of data in a short period of time, compared to working as an individual. Others in the group may help to point out errors.

Working as a single person has an advantage of being more consistent with how each step of the experiment is carried out.

i was asked which was better individual or a team approach
and i decided to select team approach and my reason was taht...quite similar to survivor but i forgot his reason! but i managed to come up with one, which im hoping IS an advantage is that:

a team approach, means that each person is allocated a specialised task and provides less room for error in that an individual would have a greater responsibility to control and conduct the experiment, hence increasing the chance of error?
