Hey all i was wondering if i could get a bit of advice....
i am trying to get my gpa up to around 2.25 or watever to just be able to transfer to a finance/commerce degree. with these degrees it requires you to do one comp/isys subject!! but i have already done comp115 and got a PC for it. however i need to pick one more subject to do and in regards to gpa people say isys123 is really easy and just involved all word excell etc which i know!!!

I was just wondering peoples opinion on this and what does it mean if i do it, that say if get credit for it it overrights my PC for comp115???

Also i wanna go into mac to do my timetable as my computer is screwing up!!

It won't override your mark for COMP115. Why didn't you do ISYS123 to begin with? I'm assuming you didn't do Software Design and Development if are going to do it this semester.

You are stuck with your COMP1115 mark - you cannot override any mark you get at uni, not even if you repeat the same unit.

The only way doing ISYS is going to somewhat compensate for your PC is if you pull a HD/D in 123.

ok well do you think i should do it???? like is it a hard subject to get high marks for ?
anyone done it and compare it to comp115

If you have to get a pass in a COMP/ISYS, then you don't have a choice, do you...By all reports ISYS is easier than COMP.

hmm true hahaha well the sub i will be doing is a fiance area sorta so pc is enough aye, but i think i should do isys aye cause theres not many other easy subjects right?

I heard that if you get a PC in a core subject you need to redo it otherwise you wont be able to complete your degree........ is this true or a myth?

that is true CieL, however i am not doing any of my core subjects this semester hah hoping to go well and transfer over so thinking got 3 subjects need one more not sure if sure do another comp/isys subject as even though for finance/commerece all u need is a pc for it as not a core subject
