I always been a fan of the first two Age of empires series. The game was even more fun playing online on zone.com I recently heard of the next game in the series coming out soon. i am pumped to play it.

i think ill need to get sometihng better then a 32 mbs video card :( cuase this game looks really high detailed and realistic.

check out some pics http://aoe3.heavengames.com/gallery/aoe3-earlyshots

It looks amazing. I loved the first two games. I think they are among the most polished RTSs ever made, even if they dont really do anything to further the genre.

yeh i dotn think its a new concept , just the visual effects and the detail of all the buildings people look amazing.

for example all the buildings and ships are proprtional to the humans, unlike the other two games which didnt really do that properly.

Age of Mythology is good. Nay, its great. Still, AOE is more special to me because I played it when I was growing up so I get that nostalgia.

Are you suggesting somthing?

Anyway, I never liked Mythology - the concept just didn't appeal to me. Good thing I didn't buy it.
age of mythology was similar to age of empires , but they used more mythological creatures and god powers etc that are not realistic, but that game was good too.

age of empires 3 is the latest thing to come out from the same producers
