i don't like ja rule style, voice or flow either and most of his lyrics either, its not just that he sold out i never really viewed him as a 'sellout' till 'mesmerize' just never really liked his music at all. only the occasional track (livin it up, holla holla, and to a lesser extent, thug lovin grew up listenin to bobby brown and new edition)
freak though is nice....u can do a nice R&B type track and still 'keep it real' T.I came nice on that and they were some nice lyrics.
i got an open mind if lil' flip makes a good song i'll listen and like it (game over), if ja rule makes a good song i'll listen and like that....i liked wonderful and i wonder....basically the same thing. seriously though have u heard 'u gotta feel me' or 'undaground legend' straight garbage albums....especially 'u gotta feel me' possibly the worst double album ive ever heard.
