Hey,

Can people at uni tell me what the best place for buying second hand text books is? (obviously I know about the co-op shop).

Any other tips/hints?

At uni there are always signs around on noticeboards with people wanting to sell their 2nd hand books.
Get in quick cos they go fast.

At usyd there is the SRC Second Hand Bookshop as with most uni's. The books are sometimes out of date and worn but for the most part they can be useful, though i've never bought anything from there!

i suggest anyone from any uni pay a visit to the USyd SRC shop as the books are really cheap and sometimes with a very recent edition but you soon realise at uni that you only need the lecture notes to go well anyway.
