why not use your qantas staff travel...
depending on when you are planning on going, they usually always have seats for you...
and if your lucky, they will bump you up to business if economy is full....

Hi all!

I just flew (paid scholarship - inc flights, the way to go ) to Stuttgart in Germany. First half of the leg i went with Singapore, although expensive, everything goes perfectly, and that was sweet, but if you do do that, watch out on the Lufthansa connection to Frankfurt and then your "free" flight to anywhere in Europe....it sucked! Lufthansa's reputation is bigger than it is, and to say recently first hand, avoid flying with Lufthansa!!!

haha,thank you. i am so glad someone agreed with me about Lufthansa (not sure if I've mentioned the horrid of it in this thread!)

I found their Cityliner wasn't that bad but international service is super dooper crap!!

althought singapore airways is good..

i would choose cathay pacific anyday..

Yay I'm going to New Zealand on Tuesday! Yay! I'm so excited!

I'm flying Aerolineas Argentinas on the way over and Qantas on the way back.

The only other international flight I have done was to Vietnam and back on Vietnam Airlines... the planes were pretty old and crap and there wasn't much entertainment or anything.... the food was pretty gross too. But the Flight Attendants were friendly and helpful.
