she doesnt whine too much really. you probably only heard a few of her songs.

A lot of her "whiney" music, like hating her ex etc, is why it got commercial - she was really good at that anger expression to some people. Not musically, but lyrically etc, without saying "I'll KILL YOU YOU BASTARD!"

like "you oughta know" is a good one.

and "utopia" - that isn't whiney at all.

The only thing that irritates me is the fact that the song ironic mentions nothing ironic at all...just coincidences/bad luck...perhaps that is the irony...that a song called ironic has nothing ironic in it? correct me if i'm wrong tho...but irony, it's something along the lines of "you love birds and looked after them/saved their lives and then u are killed by a bird"? or is that just bad luck...anyway apart from that she's okay...old stuff is much better tho.

'jagged little pill' is by far her best album tho, it's one of my all time fave albums not much of a fan of her newer albums either..
