Tell me if my major project idea is good or not.

Alarm Clock
---------------
Real look, not a plain form but it would look like a real alarm clock (analog).
Reminder system.
Time sync (internet access, sync time from internet).
Dates.
Alarm (ability to record or use mp3).
Minimizable in SystemTray.
Random joke/ news / info.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Just some ideas, what else could i have? After some consideration, i figured this might be better than making a game? Well, at least this would be more useful..

U get to choose wat u want to do for ur major project?

Yer...sounds like a good idea... ^_^ be original...

I had to create a Billiard/Snooker game, had no choice... but it was challenging
Got 98% for it.

Wow, I gotta say that's quite impressive Winston! Nice GUI and all.
One problem though: too much maths homework :p!

What programming language did you use?

Nice program Winston, I was wondering if you would be able to make the program available, if its finished, and even the source code if you don't mind releasing it. Even though I've never used VB.Net
