You will do ok, dont stress worse thing you can do.

I based mine on the effects of being a twin has on individuality... and all the fun stuff that goes along with it. Lucky I have about 20 sets of twin friends who were wonderful and helpful :D

mine was only 4 pages less then Clo's
I do believe that makes me the better twin out of us?

Should I do an all nighter so I can make PIP the best quality I can/Study English heaps or do a real dodge PIP/study english a little before sleeping/study kinda in the morning? :|

Wow, your PIPs all relate to your 'micro' world. Mine is looking at our generation, and if we are selfish because of the media showing us all these negative images and if it's making us go "Meh, world's screwed, may as well live fast, die young." Not a very personal topic choice. :( But the topic my teacher thought of for me, and at the time thought it would be really fun- lol.
All nighter is the way to go, I reckon you will find that you are more pumped for hte exam with less sleep, but that is just me.

I like your PIP topic. It's true, we generally don't pay too much attention to things and eventually stop caring. It's not a news bulletin unless someone's been murdered, there's been terrorism or a child has gone missing. It is horrible, so good on you for that topic :)
Cant wait to see them all if we post them up.

I was originally started doing how mental illness is viewed on within today's modern society - realised it was too hard and started doing the one im handing in - took me 6 months to do it.

So many tears shed while completing my pip - considered changing it three weeks ago - lucky i was talked out of it.

You are the smart twin I did restart mine 4 weeks ago well writing it anyways  finished it in 3 weeks though spending 2 weeks of the holidays and 1 week after school and weekends.

Tears shread yes over stress. but what doesnt kill us makes us stronger... Yes clo I do believe it

I'm only a few hundred words from being complete :D I think I'll just randomly shove in some stuff in the chapters about how they're answering my hypothesis blah blah blah

oh man, mine's so short compared to some of yours! guess that's what I get for doing hardly any primary research XD

mine's 'does contemporary Australian society treat lesbians differently to gay men, and if so, how, and has it changed' etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. I don't have a title for mine yet, so I'm thinking I might end up staying up all night just trying to think of a catchy title XD;;

here's a question that I should probably know the answer to: are we supposed to have a title page with our pip when we hand it in tomorrow, with our title and student number on it, or whatever?

Umm I know my school is doing that for us. We just emailed it to my teacher and he bindes it together - adds another cover page and ships it off to BOS.

Yes, you should have a title page.
Your student number is supposed to be at the top right of every page.
I think?

Whoo!! I'm not the only crazy one :D

I remember my Soc + C teacher saying they did.. How many words over? Not so sure. But my Soc + C teacher said that ALL PIPs go through a machine to be scanned, and it records everything including word count, and can pick up whether or not something is plagiarized. I have no idea if she said this to make sure we stuck to the rules or if it's actually true, so I'm just going to stick to the word count/ referencing rules. She's not one to lie o.o

okay, so a title page is needed! thanks guys :)

and yeah, my student number's on every page, I was just wondering if it should be on the title page as well, seeing as we can't put our name or anything

I never did that. my teacher puts this blue cover page on it with our student numbers on it. Bless his cotton socks lol - he has a task set out for him.

Wow, I really admire all of you who are staying up all night to get it done...especially as some of you have trials tomorrow! I think I would've died if I had my trials starting the day the PIP was due. I was convinced I'd be pulling an all nighter actually...but by some miracle, I was finished and printed off by 8:30. Of course, now I'm utterly convinced I've done the whole thing entirely wrong :p

Good luck to you all!

lol! uhhh, I'm pretty sure they don't have machines that can do that, at least not very accurately - especially not the plagiarised bit. I think, because they're all formatted fairly similarly, it's easy for them to tell if a PIP is WAY over the word limit, or way under it, just be seeing it next to other PIPs, so if you're only a little bit over, I doubt anybody will notice - plus, there's the 10% rule, so you're probably good as long as you're under 500 words or so over the word limit.
