My fave band at the moment is Maroon 5, so anything from then.
But my 3 fave songs would have to be:
Eminem: Lose Yourself
Limp Bizkit: Rollin'
Linkin Park: In The End
Plus I don't mind Puddle Of Mudd: She Hates Me

Of all time eh... shit...

Oasis - Wonderwall
The Cranberries - Promises
Goo Goo Dolls - Iris

Not really the greatest bunch of songs ever now that I think about it.

my favourite song ever, i'm going to be severely laughed at for this, but its 'i will come to you' by hanson. it's just so damn cute. and the rest of the top five would probably be;

jimmy eat world - a praise chorus
the get up kids - action and action
the ataris - if you really want to hear about it
no doubt - sunday morning

Burzum - Lost Wisdom : i don't think i've ever heard such heartfelt expression of pain and anguish on a cd, with a great bassline.

Nile - Unas Slayer of the Gods : one word - EPIC.

Slayer - Angel Of Death/Raining Blood : the first and last songs off Reign in Blood, also some of the best thrash i've heard
