Am i Dead? (1 Viewer)

Hi guys, hows it goin? Ok here we go, am i dead?
My physics marks are wayyy too inconsistent!
My first assesment task i got like 34%
My second i got 80%
The half yearly i got 64%

I need this to count for my UAI, as my maths marks are downright shocking at the moment. I'm aiming for a UAI of 80+, for comp eng at UOW.

Ideally i need a scaled physics mark of 75% to go to my UAI to get something above 80 according to SAM.

MY other subjects should hold up fine otherwise.

hmmm..... you may have alot of trouble with first year physics...

give us your other marks and we will see

i'm not really in a position to give advice... as far as i'm concerned your numbers all go into a black box after your exams and a uai comes out from nowhere, but from what i've seen... if u need to count it, work on it. your latter two marks show you can get decent results if u heave ur ass into gear, so that's what ya gotta do... and you still have trials left, plus the big one yeah? ^^*

a couple of other things you should consider; how much do they actually count towards final assesment (like.. for the first one, does it only count 8% or something??). How did all the other poeple in your school go? How are you going with phys atm?

i'm not gonna say u can get a uai 80+, but if u put the work in, ur set for the hsc mark =) (???)

In terms of whether you're dead, not yet. It may not be easy to improve your rankings greatly now, but just try to get as high as possible. Its still not impossible to get a 75.

Ok rightio umm well my first physics task was like 10% which aint the end of the world. The second im quite sure was the same weighting, and i think the half yearly was worth a bit more, 20% ish. In terms of ranking, im supposedly 3rd or 4th in physics. I can do fine in it, ipt, chem and good enough in eng.

ok i found my assesment schedule k here goes...
1st assessment : 10% ( result was 34% NOOO!)
2nd Asessment : 10% (Result was 80%)
3rd assessment : 20% (Result was 64%)

Theres one more assesment task and the trial. The next assessment is worth 20% and the trial is 40%, and im lookin for a scaled mark of about 75% ish overall.

And umm my school is elizabeth macarthur high school, pretty crap school lol, not one for the rankings at least .
