AM vs FM Prac HELP! (1 Viewer)

Help plz! Im doing am assesment task which involves comparing the quality of reception of AM and FM radio waves. Im not sure how to go about actually comparing the 2.
It's meant to be a proper experiment so i need to have controls variables etc and include risk assessment etc etc.

[Ok, this is coming off the top of my head...]

If you wanna compare the two, you should:
-outline both advantages and disadvantages (ie. interferences)
-identify the differences between the carrier wave > dynamic range/pitch

Control:
-make sure the radio can switch from AM to FM (same equipment)
-we performed this experiment in a group, so we had 3 different opinions which all varied.... maybe you can have just one person comparing?
Independant Variable:
-AM then FM
-im sure you went to different environments
Dependant Variable:
-clarity of sound

i dont think theres a risk in carrying a portable radio around xD
avoid performing this experiment on rainy days? haha

Im not sure if this is right, since my teacher never gave my prac book back, but i hope this helps... Anything else, just google it. Worked for me ;D
