hi guys

does any one have experience with amd laptops? is the performance good ? does heat cause any problems ?

They seem to be unpopular due to the obvious (and dangerous) cooling problems common amongst the AMD chips, especially since many laptops already function with dangerously low standard cooling mechanisms. Some can't even fit fans in effectively and rely on heat vents...not a good position for a chip that has the potential to melt a hole through the world.

i hav/using a amd laptop..
well they're generally BIGGER in size..
so carryin it around could be a pain..
but they perform good..no compaints.

ive used my laptop for lots of hours straight wifout it blwoing up..
it got hot, and needed a pillow to put under the laptop..but yeh..nothin bad has happened so far..

My father has been using one for probably 2 years... its had no problems with cooling...

It functions quite well and doesn't crash from overheating.

Its bigger than the Celeron and Pentium Laptops we own, but smaller than my G4 iBook...

The weight is pretty well balanced...

So yeah. Up to you.

Its a pretty good machine, cheaper in price, I'd generally say worth it.
