i dont think anyone had an edge in that debate, edwards did alot better then people thought he would against dick cheney, but cheney maintained his point of view by his lies

Oh yes, Cheney spoke alot better than Edwards, therefore he must be dishing out Republican lies *rolls eyes* I believe it was Edwards who got his statistics wrong, not Cheney

actually, in the two cases where cheney said the facts were wrong, namely the 90% troops deaths being americans and the $200bn pay packet, EDWARDS WAS RIGHT.
he said 90% of COALITION forces deaths were american, WHICH IS RIGHT. cheney said, "if you include the iraqi security forces blah blah, completetly besides the point.
and the $200bn statement was INCLUDING the estimate given by the US government regarding the next year, WHICH EDWARDS SAID.

1) So, evidentally like Edward's you to believe that the contribution of the Iraqi's to obtaining their own freedom and liberating their nation is of course irrelevant. But, weren't you the guy who said that Iraqi's would be to stupid to democratically elect their own leader?

2) Let's pretend for a moment that the 200 billion statement is correct (which I in no way conceed) Cheney mentioned that a percentage of that debt would be foriven by allies. Instantly you have less then 200 even if the stat 'is correct' hypothetically speaking.

1) He specified Coalition forces, which makes the Iraqi security force irrelevant in that case. Of course they have contributed, but that was not what was being discussed. And when did I say that?
2) Ok i did a search and found that the actual estimates of the US cost (not including allies) is 150-200bn, which is both a longway from Cheney's estimate and Edward's estimate, so we are both null on that point.
