it seems like you are an expert in modern history. I am really bad in the personality part (constantly getting 9-11 out of 15 in part 2) but then my m.hist teacher in my skl said the hsc markers don't really know much about the personalities and as long as i put up a sound argument i would get a 14-15. i am so confused cause my rank got dragged down thanks to macarthur. and my skl put a really tricky question about macarthur in the trial. argh

and thanks for the estimation. my aim is 95.5 damn....

p.s. for example: the question asked me to assess whether macarthur is an idealistic or opportunistic man.
i argued he was an absolute idealistic man and i said in no way he was opportunistic.
my m.hist. seem to disagree even i wrote down all the evidence to support my argument. my teacher only buy the students that wrote he was abit of both. i wonder if thats the case in hsc because it is a really subjective question and as long as i argued with support i should really get a good mark.

PM'd

I forgot to add in the PM, they cant mark you down simply because they disagree with your argument. If your response presents a sustained argument supported by strong evidence, analysis and historiography, you will do well. For an essay I did in uni, the marker wrote a whole page about how much he disagreed with me, but when issuing the grade he stated that it was irrelevant for determining marks.
