hey i am doing an assigment and i have to analyse written and visual evidence to make judgeents about everday life from private tombs. i am just wondering where i find written evidence from? ( does it actually have to be like a stelae from a tomb) i think it does, like it cant just be as text book but i dont know where to look!
thanks for any help

Not just stelae, but also translations and transcriptions of information from the tomb. Miriam Lichtheim, Alberto Siliotti, and Breasted are great sources for this kind of information.

Are you studying Ramesside Egypt?

^^ um i am in year 11 and we are doing new kingdom egypt. i need written evidence ( from tombs like ramose, rekmire, and menna, but it is really hard to find!
We need evidence that shows everyday life for Egyptians .. its hard as all the evidence is in viziers tombs and doesn’t depict everdaylife
