SAME! My teacher reckons for Sparta the big 10-12mk will be either army or cultural life. I've barely touched my Sparta notes since trials though so I have no clue.

Also to answer the Sparta section (section 2 I think), are we meant to use ancient & modern historians or is that more of an essay thing to do?

I don't think I'm using any modern historians for sparta its just the ancient ones

i'd say it actually more depends on the question. Because Sparta is one of those like semi-archelogical heavy topics, i'd only really use modern historians if they talk about stuff outside the scope of the typical site like Sparta's Clergies. Some queastions it's actually really important to put a modern historian in for, like the identity of lycurgus. So for queastions that lean towards the issues of historiography def put in modern historians, but otherwise i wouldn't worry too much for sparta.
