I mean if you have info on them its amazing
... I had absolutely nothing on both topics...
That exam cooked me
ok no that's fair. the problem with niche questions is that if you prepare, you will EAT so hard but it's hard to be prepared for everything lol

yeah basically, idk if its by cohort or individual, but like if we both did really good on p&h, but i did poorly on my society and you did well for a different society, i would get moderated up for my society bc of my marks in p&h
wait are you sure????? cos ive heard (even for pdh) that if u do better in the core u jus get scaled up higher than those who didnt do as well?

I've been told that P+H is the discriminator for the state (because it's core), so it gets marked harsher. But I thought every section was weighted the same?

ohhh yeah that might be the case bc then the scaling is determined on the common topic everyone takes
I thought scaling was decided after the marking? I was told that P+H is just marked harsher because it's the core and so you get compared to more people.

yeah it probably is marked harsher to a certain extent, but the marks also determine the moderation of other sections marks bc its the only way to compare every student

so they won't sit there when marking and look at the p&h marks to determine what mark you should receive for other sections, but after they mark everything then theyll decide how to scale your marks based on the p&h section (+ ranks and all the other scaling stuff)

yea that is basically what i did, just tied it back to prov. gov. because technically all policies would be of benefit to the provincial gov, showcasing its success
