Details
Computing Laboratory Demonstrators are required to supervise the security of the E.F.S computer laboratories on each of the three levels of E4B (new computing labs), and to assist students with computer related inquiries. During the term, the laboratories are open from 8am to 10pm weekdays and 9am to 5pm weekends. Work times will be arranged into four and a half or five-hour shifts.

Additional duties include monitoring student use of equipment and low-level work-station maintenance.

Suitable for students who have a demonstrated knowledge of software application used in the teaching programs within the Division, general knowledge of Windows based software, and a demonstrated ability of effective communication.

We are also interested in students who have a good academic background, who have a minimum of one year until the completion of their degree, and who are able to fill required shifts.
Application Procedures
Application forms are available from the demonstrator on duty in room C5C 219 during the regular operating hours of the labs, from 23rd January and must be submitted by 10th February, 2006.

Forms are to be handed in together with a copy of your academic transcript and brief resume (max. of one page) to room E4A 111 (E.F.S IT Services Unit) by 10th February.

Interviews and training will commence from 20th until 24th February, and successful applicants are expected to be available on those days. Shifts will commence first week, first semester of 2006, i.e from 27th February.

i've already applied.

took me an hour (no joke) to try to print off the chatty resume in the library. it was due to a combination of card not working and getting a new one. not fun after an all nighter and an exam.

Perhaps you should add that at the bottom of your resume to highlight your extreme desire for the job?

...Then again, maybe not: it might demonstrate a lack of technological understanding ;)

lol yeah, which is why i was going to do it all again. i could only use wordpad to type it up and it looked very unpretty. :(

oh weill, i hope i get more than 3 shifts for this.
