if we were given a wavelength of say a 100nm, and had to sub it into an equation like c = f *wavelength,
what do we need to divide the wavelength by to get into the form so we can sub into the equation

100nm = 100 nano meters

in c=f * % (say % =wavelength)

% is in meters..so i think u need to divide it by 10^12

u gorra divide it by a million (10^9)

darn, hate it when they dun give it to u on the data sheet...

just remember this little trick

milimetres (mm) = x10^-3 for metres
micro-metres (the weird u/p shaped thing) = x10^-6 for metres
nano-metres (nm) = x10^-9 for metres

remember it goes -3, -6 and -9
and remember mili is smallest (-3) and nano sounds like nine therefore -9 leaving micro as -6
