If you were a selector, what would be the ideal applicant ?

List the academics, sports, extra curricular, community service etc (Bored ..)

I can see this is bugging you!

Hmm... if I were on the panel, I'd be trying to look for a balanced person, who has;

-> Performed well ACADEMICALLY.
-> Shown LEADERSHIP through sport or extra-curricular activities, or even at school (i.e prefect, team captain etc.)
-> Can speaker another LANGUAGE or can play MUSIC.
-> Has VOLUNTEERED (eg. Red Cross, Scouts, Clean Up Australia Day)
-> Has a life outside school and has other interests but school, like chess, skiing or a sport.

But, it's particularly academics. If you have lots of academic certificates, and very positive reports from school you'll have a chance.

They'd be looking for kids from kinda lower ranked selective schools or private schools that came top 10 in their cohort, ie straight As + a good variety of extra curricular activities as ununoctium mentioned; adding to that list: debating, public speaking are good. btw are you in year 11 applying for a spot in year 12 wtfnoob123 (since

This is the reason I left Penrith high.....
