Hell, Wollongong is more deserving of being in here than ANU.

Could it be that ANU isn't in the same state as all the others?

It might be major, whether or not it's better than Wollongong is based on opinion, but the universities on the main page are all in NSW. They're also the ones that most NSW students aspire to go to.
