or if u got a UAI of 65.2 and a HD average (converts to a UAI of 99)
65.2 + 99/2 =82.1
hmm... say the course was to get into BEconomics for external transfer was 93 and i got 82.1 which means i can't get in.

Is there any difference of doing a 2 year course of b economics at UWS then apply external transfer again? lol this is complicated

sorry if i did scare people!
But its what they have explained, since they consider your tertiary and secondary (i.e. uai and gpa) so if you have a low uai and even if you mustered a 7.0 average, youstill wouldnt be able to transfer as it is still low.
I understand how oyu feel about low uais, i got one too as ive told you. But better know the reality than bullshit. You can still transfer if your marks are greater than or equal to the uai mark of the course. but say you wnated to do biz at uts, well i wanted to try but considering the circumstances and info, ididnt.

However at unsw, they will consider your tertiary marks more, that is if you do more tertiary study, it will be considered more over than your uai, i dont knwo how it is considered but possible 75 gpa and 25 uai. Of course you cant just do like most of your degree at uws then transfer to another uni in your final semester as there are rules in place for that as i checked, i thought of that too :p bit let down.

i am doing a trasnfer myself you see, and uws offers many opportunities. E.g. external students are considered on thee basis of their highest qualification, e.g. uai or gpa or work experience etc. So you dont need to calculate the nrsl mark that natstar did since its applicable to other unis.

FYI, pass 4.00 converts to 80.

hours studied is hard, depends on your course. engineering students do alot of hours but typically most course are like 12-15hours to 20. you study 4 subjects per semester or less or more if you have the course advisers permission.
