This depends on many things, and I assume that you mean Mathematics Extension 1:
1. Quality of your school
2. Quality of your school candidature
3. How many units you're doing - If you really aren't doing very well, you could drop that subject, assuming you have atleast 11 units at the moment
4 How you are going in your other subjects

There's still time to improve, with half yearlies, trials and final exams, which combined together, are worth a big chunk of your assessment. Don't give up [yet]. ;)

3-unit maths has really high aggregate scores... if you spend more time doing past papers and studying you'll do real good.

So, just try and do good overall and theres no reason why you won't get your dream UAI;

Play around with SAM; it gives you an idea of where you should improve; be sure to focus on the aggregate contribution.

Just to elaborate;

See the Aggregate contribution? Even a FINAL HSC mark of 60 in 3u is better then getting an 80 in the other subjects.

Therefore; if at work you manage a 60; its still going to do better then you 80 in business or... whatever subjects you do...
