I can remember the various flame tests (copper, calcium, barium) and the bright yellow precipitate for lead, but that is it. At the moment I'm hoping there will be a multiple choice question that gives us the tests.

I can remember the lead one, because bright yellow is pretty damn unique.

I just remember lead being to add Cl- and it gives a white ppt, if you are in doubt if its silver just leave it in the sun for a few mins.

With the new modified syllabus i don't think we need to know the tests off by heart anymore

have a look at the modifications made to the syllabus, the 'learn to' part of the anion/cation tests were all deleted.

I think all we need to know are hte experiments we did to show what anions/cations were present. But they do recommend us to know some of the tests.

I withdraw my comment then, but I know them anyway, and I'm still not entirely confident it won't be in there
