hey guys.
i need a little advice in regards to an upcoming modern history assignment.
the assignment outlines that we are allowed to pick a topic of choice and we are to make up our own question and answer it in a 1000 word essay.

my topic: the beatles

i was wondering about your thoughts/ideas on a question

I don't know much about the Beatles except for their songs but I think for your essay question, it would make it easier if you narrowed down its focus. Like you could concentrate on one part of their history. Remember to include historians and show a wide range of research. Good luck~!

Ok, off the top of my head:

The Beatles scrupulously moulded an entire new music generation appropriate to the historical and social context at the time. Discuss.

You could write about how The Beatles were/are significant in pop culture? Also you could mention how they were one of the first rock bands to use classical instruments (e.g. string orchestra) in their arrangements.
