Any SDD Preliminary Text Books? (1 Viewer)

I already have 'Software Design and Development: The Preliminary Course' by Samuel Davis but I don't really feel comfortable writing notes out of it because the author provides so much information and opinion. Are there any other SDD Preliminary Text Books available?
