Any suggestions for a contemporary Gothic Text? (1 Viewer)

Fight Club would be an awesome text to do! Maybe also check out "The Prestige" by Christopher Priest (which was then adapted into an amazing film!), or even "Interview with the Vampire" by Anne Rice (which was also then adapted into an awesome movie). Maybe check out "Phantom of the Opera" as well. You could really draw some great parallels with basically anything by Edgar Allan Poe with these, or even some of James Joyce's short stories (not contemporary, but just throwing some ideas out there)!
