Hey,
Just wondering if anybody has any more to add towards this dotpoint. It's a really obscure one and my three textbooks all cover it quite poorly:

Second-hand investigation: Process information to discuss Einstein and Planck’s differing views about whether science research is removed from social and political forces:
Einstein and Planck had varied views on the relationship between science and politics.
Einstein:
· Was politically active as a pacifist, opening criticising the German regime during WWI during public speaking circuits in Europe.
· After emigration to USA at start of WWII, convinced the US government to develop nuclear weapons technology.
· Einstein was Jewish and hence persecuted by the Nazi regime.
· His famous equation, E = MC2 made him inseparable from society and politics, as this physics knowledge lead to the deadliest weapon ever invented.
Planck:
· Planck came from an upper-class German family.
· Was not as politically active as Einstein and focused on his scientific research even during the war period
· Did not become involved in the political and social conflicts of the time.

Any stuff I missed greatly appreciated
