anybody understand the religious allusion "it knows not what it is" from Yeats (1 Viewer)

"It knows not what it is" is aparrantly an allusion to a Bible verse, but nobody seems to know ohw it is relevant to the poem (Sailing To Byzantium).

Any ideas?
