I also did TKD for a while... a few of my friends are much more into it (and they win tournaments!)...

used to take up tae kwon do but my teacher was a bit freaky and one of those fitness controller (for 80% of our lessons we'd actually do cardio workouts). Dropped that in 2003, have taken up muay thai kickboxing just recently.

I do Muay Thai, which in its training is probably closer to boxing than a martial art, per se.

It helps to be into black comedy when someone is kicking the fuck out of you.

I've done a little bit of Hapkido and some Wing Chun Kung Fu. Been interested in JKD since forever.. but obviously alot of issues come up when trying to find a qualified instructor around here.

I did Karate when I was really young, Tae Kwon Do for a couple of years during early High School and then Wing Chun for a year a little later on. I love Tae Kwon Do and want to get back into it in the near future. Does anyone know any good schools?

I did Rhee Tae kwon-do for about 8 years and then switched to Shim Jang Taekwondo.
