I was thinking of doing a Physics bridging course since I'm doing Optometry.. but people have been telling me that I don't really need it at all since I did MX2.

You don't need to do it. I never did biology for pharmacy and still managed fine (though it was damn tough at times) It helps a bit but generally uni notes are awesome anyways
