I'm considering placing this as my first preference. Currently, it's my second pref after commerce at UNSW (which i'm doubtful of making). UAI: 94.6

im not entirely sure what im gonna do, my uai was 97, so i can do both i guess

travel would be easier for me going to sydney uni

but unsw wouldnt be much further

I would've considered B Comm @ USYD if they offered PT at night~ but unfortunately they do not. I quite enjoyed doing ABW State in the Faculty at USYD earlier this year.

wat about commerce at macq?? i never get wats the difference between each courses in different unis.. hmmz ... too complicated for me

There's no set standard or syllabus across universities but they tend to follow a similar pattern. A good indicator is whether the uni and course are recognised by other post-graduate institutions for prerequesites such as the ICAA or CPA.

Isn't that somewhere around what it was last year? (Sorry I don't really know)... but I think the Commerce stuff may go down because I think demand is starting to go down (this is purely based on the number of ppl who are from my school intending to do things other than commerce/business).

but i think im going to unsw for comm/law~ seems like the general vibe is that commerce is better at unsw...

Yes i really want to do this course, but my UAI is 0.05 off the cut off from last year, but hopefully i get in, talked to the associate dean of commerce today and it's hard to tell whether it will drop or rise.

hahaha...thats wat i heard aswell...i wanna do commerce too. i got 94.25 in my uai and plus extra 5 points from the elite athletes scheme...i thought id be lucky if i made it to eco...but i think that the cut off for b com might increase coz when i went to the open day back in august...the marketing lecturer thought it would...but um...who knws

Oh, bTW tommy. I was under the impression that Commerce at U/Syd needed to have people who studied Mathematics (that is to say, not General) in the HSC. Something for you to look up on, I think? I'm not sure though..

Yeah my 1st preference is currently commerce&arts @ USYD. I should be able to get in (95.10).
