Is anyone as excited as me to commence uni? I know, it's because, as they say, I'm a "noob" and I have no idea what i'm in for, but i can't wait to start!!! I've prepared everything and soon will purchase all my books to begin!
So...?
I'm excited to start uni so I can advance my knowledge in maths, physics and experience what engineering is!!! Despite taking the train up to the city on a 40 degree day to do enrolment that takes about an hour or less and having to use the student portal (any melbourne uni student will know what i'm talking about) and basically sifting through web pages of university content (I was lucky enough to find info on writing essays and how "PLAGARISM" is treated very strictly at uni).
At the same time it will be scary because I'll expect it to be like school in someways (such as knowing everyone and where everything is).
I'm on my way with purchasing all my stationery (for each subject I will allocate a folder to it so I can store all my lecture notes in it, and only take an excercise book to lectures - Those table things we get really would only be able to handle an excercise book).
Getting used to lectures will be hard because my teachers at school would allow us to copy everything off the board word for word, whereas my specialist maths teacher would try to get us used to the lecture format such as saying "listen to what's being taught, don't be a scribe"!
