okay i had an hour to kill so i worked out my timetable (well my ideal one, its actually subject to tute group spaces)

anyway i have a 90% chance of getting mondays off because i would only have a 1 hour tute on a monday, none of my other subjects run on monday.

But tuesday 10-5 with 2 hours worth of breaks.
Wednesday 10-5 with an hours break inbetween each.
thursday 1-4 with an hour break inbetween.
friday 1-4 with an hour break inbetween.

if thats confused you ive attached a copy of the time table i created. Heres just hoping i can go to the Student Centre and replicate it come O-week

with lectures its fine you get plenty of choice. but with tutorials you wont get as much flexibility due to class numbers. once 20 ppl have been put into a certain time slot, you cant go into that slot. so therefore you chances of getting your ideal timetable are reduced.

okay its reasonably simple. first you have lectures.

if they are listed side by side eg

L1 Monday 18:00, L2 Tuesday 16:00 - then you have two lectures in those week.

if they are listed under each other eg.

Monday 18:00
Tuesday 16:00

this means you have the choice of either monday or tuesday. same with tutes.

under the tutorial part it has M10A and M11A etc then R10A, R11A etc and T10A
Does that mean I can choose any two of the say 12 options. And the M, R, T etc correspond to the days of the week.

And at the end of each option it says say [2-13] or[1-13]
Does that mean I have to do only one tutorial or two tutorials depending on which one.

Didn't even think about that.
For Geopolitics though it says in the online handbook that there are two lectures but in the timetable it only gave one 2 hour lecture

I kind of like that.....but there are a few "times" that I don't really like much. i.e. if I could get a 1 hour gap between lessons on monday and wednesday..dat would've been gr8.....but that was the best I could come up with...what do u think?
