considering whether to shell out the money

Given that if you're inviting someone else to come you might have to pay for/subsidise their ticket a bit, it's going to up to $180, so yeah, massive waste.

Isn't there already another thread on this?

I don't think I'm going - because none of my close friends are going to USyd and there are better opportunities to make friends anyway. But if I was, I would probably stay away from the black, halter-neck, knee-length cocktail dress because... well... everyone will be wearing something like that. :)

yeah i discovered that thread... but I swear it wasn'tthere when i made this thread, or i wouldn't have made one..

i have a dress and all, but no date, and my other usyd friends aren't going... so i think it's a no from me...

yeh same, i got the clothes, the desire but no hot lady thats willing to shell out 90 bucks...

i hear they have djs from HOME - sounds like my kinda party!!!

yeh sucks, hpefulli i cna make friends with a snobby usyd person and make em pay fo rme (H)
