im doing an assignment on him and i have one thing left to find. if his case was appelate or origninal jurisdiction, whats the difference and does anyone know what the jurisdiction was in his case? ta

Apellate jurisdiction refers to if a court can hear appeals
Original jurisdiction is the original power a court has to hear criminal matters

His case would go like this:
Original:Starts in Local (for endightment) }
} Of the State he was in
Supreme Court Of whatever state it was in (murder charges) }

The Original Juristiction may also be asking for the state it was in (NSW I think)

Appelate:I believe then he would appeal to:
Full bench of Supreme Court ---> High Court (1 Judge) ---> Full Bench Of the High Court (being that it got that far, which I am pretty sure it did)
