true story...

i once sat next to a guy on the bus who claimed to be the pudgy white guy on the cover of endtroducing with his head in a motion blur. i took the CD case outta my bag to listen to it and he pointed at it and said "that's me". he really looked the guy too.

but i was in newtown, so i didn't believe him.

He's got an eclectic, one might say heavily infleunced style, but that said he retains a level of orginality. I think he'll go far.
You're an idiot.

Heavily influenced? What was endtroducing heavily influenced by? It was years ahead of its time.

And he is not just starting out, he HAS gone far.

Stop trying to drop knowledge when you obviously don't know shit.

i'd prefer to listen to RJD2 rather than DJ Shadow...Endtroducing is a great cd, but [RJD2's] Deadringers and Since We Last Spoke interest me more...
whos RJD2?

is that another artist, or another album by the same DJ?

Building Steam With A Grain Of Salt

and Why Hip Hop Sucks In '96 ( even though its very short and cant really be classfied as a song, it holds a very true message) that hip hop is all about money and the lyrics are just about the amount of wealth the artists have, not like hip hop before that.

Shadow's over. He can't possibly keep doing what he's doing; others have moved in to do what he does now. He also can't possibly top the first two albums.
