hey guys

i called up anu and they said that accom guarantee only applies
for main round..so if theres people prayin for second round accom
..according to the anu girl...theres 'very high demand' so its pretty much unlikely ur going to be living on campus...


i THINK im in this situation....

anyone else in the same boat?

I don't know yet, my UniTest score looks a little average. I think you still get the opportunity of going into UniLodge, but the prices there are exorbitant. :(

yeh unilodge looks like the Hilton hotels of ANU ...without the paris :p

if i dont find accom
i might like...just sleep in a car or something....for a semester or so
buy a daihatsu charade...i can get into a fetal position... and yet my feet would still dangle outside the car :p
could heat my food using the cigarette lighter
id have hardcore AM talk back radio pumping through my speakers
..use the steering wheel to do my study on....interior light for studying...

i can only see positive things coming out of this idea :p

i'm living off campus since i'm a local student and i'm loving it.

i always recommend people to get together and share a house/apartment nearby ANU. :uhhuh: (not that canberra is big... ANU is probably 15 minutes away max, from any point in canberra)

the self catered colleges sometimes have spare spots - i know most hals did by 2nd semester - (people drop out, transfer, go back home from exchange etc)

My courses are all stuffed around and didnt go through UAC so my accommodation is severely stuffed up. Similar situation and im pretty screwed for on campus accommodation
