I'm doing 2 Phil units...

Apparently I'm majoring in english with the same thing...

How does one define a major?

from memory:
32 credit points in senior units with the same prefix.......

not always the same prefix...

you can find the major specs in your course handbooks... it'll tell you your compulsory subjects and electives...

usually it'll be something like "4 compulsory subjects + 2 of the following" etc...
