Anyone regret doing maths? (1 Viewer)

I've been thinking, I regret picking up maths alltogether. I should never have done the subject, not only because its hard, but it doesn't fit with the rest fo my subject and I SUCK AT IT!!

Anyone else in the same boat? (Sorry for hating he subject and sorry if i offend those that like the subject )

Well, I actually enjoy maths, one of my fav subjects, but I'm a deadset dud at it. I pretty much fail most tests, but I have no regrets picking it...I'd be bored as batshit in general!

I don't find math extremely difficult if I do enough exercises and past papers. Being the fob that I am, I find it a lot easier to understand than stupid AoS...

Yeah IT, which involved 4/5 advanced maths subjects this year. But next year im moving to BSc(Computer Science)/BSc(Pure Maths)

at UNSW? mmm its a worry for me.. i did no maths, and i wanan do B Sc (Computer Science) next year.

IT this year at usyd, compsci/maths at unsw next year. My friend did general, didnt do comp sci, but his degree had to do the same maths units. He struggled but he managed to survive it. If you can survive first year maths youve pretty much done all the maths you need for comp sci.

i love maths so so much. and i think it's the only subject that i've noticed significant improvements in since i started to actually work hard. i'm not particularly great at it, but it just makes so much SENSE, i can't help but love it.

if i didn't think i'd fail miserably, i'd do maths at uni and become a maths teacher.

I'm doing maths at university, not so much to learn a bunch of theorems and equations, but because with learning comes understanding - and that is something very fun.

I have more respect for somebody who is learning maths, doing poorly, but enjoying it nonetheless, than I do for somebody who is a maths god.

if i didn't think i'd fail miserably, i'd do maths at uni and become a maths teacher.

It's tempting, isn't it? At least try the doing maths at uni part of it!

No regrets at all. If there was no maths in the hsc then I would be soooo screwed. I'd probably drop out and become a mechanic or an accountant or something.
