How would i answer this AOS question using Shakespeare's As You Like It:
To what extent has studying the concept of belonging expanded your understanding of yourself, of individuals, and of the world?
In you answer, refer to your prescribed text (AYLI) and one other related text of your own choosing.

Thanks in advance.

I think one rule that you can use to assist you to answer questions that you don't know is to stop overthinking, remember all belonging questions comes from the rubric, so having a thorough understanding of the rubric will prepare you well to answer ANY essay question. This is basically requiring you to highlight what concepts about interpersonal connection and one's sense of affinity, about one's interaction with the world has on their sense of belonging, because when anything says 'expanded your understanding'-it really is asking you to highlight your conceptual thesis on the relationship between belonging, environment and interpersonal interactions. Often, it is easier to argue that the texts you have studied have augmented your understanding to a significant extent because there was a reason why you are studying this prescribed text in the first place-and that is because BOSTES thinks it explores pertinent ideas about belonging that is worthy to be studied by you:)

A good place to start is the AOS rubric provided by the BoardofStudies. It outlines numerous belonging concepts which students can use and be examined on. Find which concepts relate best to 'The Crucible', and then you're on your way to a great essay :)
