For all my assignments i have to use APA stlye referencing. What is this? Also are there any good books or webites that teach you how to use this refencing system?

Hey Liz, i know exactly what you're going through. If you have the Psychology text book: The person, the brain, the world (or something) it should have come with a bonus book, which teaches you how to do referencing and laboratory type reports.

if u go to the library website of UWS: http://library.uws.edu.au

then go to the above links called 'Online Assistance'

there will be a popup menu thingy and point your mouse to 'Citing Resources'

then there are plenty of links to each referencing style like APA, harvard, and other things like style guides, books and issues like plagiarism etc.

we use the australian guide to legal citation or sumfin like that.....pretty standard across all faculties
