Applied to transfer from MQ Arts to USYD Arts (1 Viewer)

I want to transfer to be closer to family but also because I've heard of how fantastic some faculties are here, but anyways.

I've emailed USYD directly a few months ago asking what grades would I need for this external transfer and they said exactly, I quote "You will need a Pass to Credit average in your current degree to be considered competitive" and I'm like what, that sounds way too good to be true...thoughts?

I'm really working as hard as I can for these last few exams, just don't want to get overconfident. I predict I'll finish with a high pass WAM, first semester was fairly rough as I got used to Uni workloads, but I didn't fail anything, just 3 mid-range passes! I'm looking to get two credits and one pass at the end of this semester, if not, one credit two passes - with one of them I can already tell it'll be really close.

I think you'll most likely get in, given that email response + some vague recollections I have of hearing about others transferring in similar circumstances

Awesome!!! Just got my final results for semester 2, two 63's (-.- so close to a credit but its WAM not GPA thankfully so this takes out some of the sting) and a 59. Brought my WAM up to 59. I'm feeling quite confident now tbh

I'm particularly interested in the English faculty, it's what I'm doing my major in and I've heard only stellar things about the English faculty here. Same for psychology!
